The client base of Parrs Perotto & Magee, LLP is evenly divided between individuals and businesses. They are located throughout New York and the Southeastern United States.

Our business clients include small businesses, many of which are family owned, larger corporations, medical and professional practices, developers, and numerous pension and retirement plans. Our individual clients include executives, retirees, the elderly and families.

How We Charge

We understand that legal services are costly. We provide superior service at a competitive cost. We inform our clients before we start a task on how we propose to bill. On routine matters, such as will preparation and business formation, we charge flat fees. On other matters we may charge on an hourly basis. For those matters, we almost always bill monthly.

Who We Are

Gene ParrsEugene Parrs graduated from Brown University in 1967 and the Syracuse University College of Law in 1973 (magna cum laude). He has practiced law in Rochester, N.Y. since 1974. He is admitted to practice law in New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. He was a Captain in the USAF.

 

 

 

 

Gay Perotto

Gay Perotto graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1983 (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and the University of Buffalo School of Law in 1986. She has practiced law in Rochester, New York since 1987. She is admitted to practice law in New York, North Carolina and Georgia.  She specializes in trust and estate planning, business law and elder law. She is married with two children and a beloved family dog.  She resides in the Town of Greece and serves as a board member on Munipro, Inc. (Town of Greece).  Gay enjoys watching her sons play high school football and lacrosse and listening to country music.

 

 

 

Marry Magee

Mary E. Magee graduated in 1988 from the Syracuse University School of Law (magna cum laude) and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs with a Juris Doctor and a Masters Degree in Public Administration.  She has practiced law in Washington D.C. and Rochester, N.Y. since her graduation.  She is admitted to practice law in New York.

 

 

 

 

Deb Lynd

Deborah T. Lynd graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1987.  She is admitted to practice law in New York State, and has practiced in Rochester, NY since her graduation.  For over 23 years Debbie has counseled clients in the areas of trust and estate planning, estate taxation and trust and estate administration.

 

 

 

 

Kathy Fouquet

Kathy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College. She also attended RIT and SUNY Brockport. She has been a paralegal at Parrs & Perotto LLP since 1998 and has received designation of Enrolled Retirement Plan agent (ERPA). This designation allows Kathy to act under the client's Power of Attorney and deal directly with the IRS.

 

 

 

 

Karen Mandarano

Karen graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a B.A. in 1985 and from the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia in 1986. She has completed course work in income taxation and has attended numerous seminars on fiduciary income tax, estate tax, and estate and trust administration. Karen has worked as a paralegal in Rochester since 1986 and has 25 years experience in the area of estate and trust administration and taxation.
